Jacques Gagnier
Jacques Gagnier is a founding partner of Cafa and has more than 30 years of experience in negotiating transactions and arranging financing. Prior to creating Cafa in 1986, Jacques held a number of management positions in a Canadian Schedule “A” bank. Jacques holds a joint MBA from McGill University and the London Business School. Jacques sits on the boards of several Canadian and international private and public companies.

Pierre Giard
Pierre Giard is a Chartered Accountant and brings over 25 years of business and tax consultancy experience. His initial professional experience was with Coopers & Lybrand; he later became a tax partner with Ernst & Young. In 1994, Pierre was appointed Vice-President of Finance of a major medical instrument distributor. Prior to joining Cafa, Pierre owned a successful retail operation with several outlets in the Montreal area.

Jacques Savard
Jacques Savard has a background in management, corporate strategy and business financing. Before joining Cafa, Jacques coordinated the management buyout of Novabrik International Inc. and served in the interim as the COO. He was previously a senior portfolio manager for the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement and the FSTQ. Mr. Savard was a senior manager, strategic and financial services at Deloitte & Touche. Jacques is a graduate of McGill University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.

André Scott
André Scott has more than 30 years experience in the financial sector. He began his career with the Royal Bank of Canada where he held various positions before specializing in commercial lending. In 1991, he joined the Laurentian Bank of Canada in risk management and was actively involved in the bank's numerous acquisitions. From 2000 to 2002, he took the challenge of setting up and bringing public B2B Trust. André was part of the Bank Executive Committee as Executive Vice President, Commercial Financial Services.

Christian J. Tylko
Christian Tylko has more than 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, project planning and finance, including 20 years in corporate development with a Canadian multinational pulp and paper company. Christian speaks four languages and has considerable international experience. He is a McGill graduate in Political Science and Economics and has a Commerce degree from Concordia University.

Louis Fortier
Louis Fortier has been senior consultant and partner for major business strategy firms in Canada for over 10 years, where he helped many managers boost their company's growth and value. Louis has also held several senior investment positions at major funds where he led and completed numerous venture capital deals, buyouts and secondaries in North America and Europe. He serves on the Boards of Directors of several firms and is on the Advisory Committee of several VC and Buyout investment funds. Louis is a graduate of the University of Sherbrooke with a B.A. and a Masters in Administration (M.Sc. Marketing).
